Launch of the Capampangan
Bible

The liturgical launching of the
Ing Bayung Bibliang Capampangan took place on September
8, 2007 during the Holy Mass of the 51st coronation anniversary
of Virgen de Los Remedios at the Nepomuceno Quadrangle, Angeles
City, Pampanga.
Most Reverend Paciano B. Aniceto, D.D., archbishop of San
Fernando Pampanga presented a plaque of appreciation to Fr.
Venancio Q. Samson, translator-editor, in the presence of
the Provincial Superior of the Society of St. Paul
Philippines-Macau, Fr. Ruben C. Areņo, SSP, also present
were Fr. Tim Melliza, SSP, the local Superior of SSP Pampanga so
with Fr. Felino P. Quitalig, SSP.
The occasion was attended by 20,000 delegates from schools and
parishes all over San Fernando, Pampanga.
This Capampangan bible is published in collaboration with Fr.
Francisco Anta, SSP, Director of SOBICAIN and Fr. Juan Antonio
Carrera, SSP, President, CTIA.
